Listed below are a few of our ministries and their missions.

Parish Nurse

Salem congregation has a Parish Nurse, Helen, a retired RN. Helen keeps tabs on the health concerns of the congregation. She visits the homebound members as well as members who are ill and makes certain that they are being adequateloy cared for. She is an invaluable member of our ministry and we thank God for her.

Social Ministry

The Social Ministry Committee has two groups working on quilts, Layettes, and First Aid Kits for Haiti and/or Chile.  So far they have 20 First Aid Kits, 12 Layettes, and 10 quilts ready to go to New Windsor for their use.  One group of ladies meets on every other Monday morning and the other group meets the opposite Monday in the evening.  Both groups have had donations given to them to help with these projects and will except any and all help or items offered for the kits or quilts.  They also had a church member make crosses for the shut-in's for Easter and they have been given to these members.

We believe in the grace of God in Christ Jesus who died for our sins on the cross, rose again that we might have eternal life and that Christ will come again.
