Salem Piecemakers

The Piecemakers are a group of women, some older and some younger. They were taught to quilt using the Log Cabin pattern. The first fruits of their labors were given to the local women's shelter.  Their second project was doing door decorations for the shut-ins of the Church which they will deliver before Easter.  Another project was knitting dish rags for the Ladies Day Out event that the Church has.  They have made Angels out of old hymnals also for our shutins. They made fashion scarves for our shutins, and will work on yet another project soon. The group also hopes to foster relationships with one another through fellowship and caring.
